Backcountry Camping

Here we are at Dolores Point on the Utah / Colorado border. Adam and I were headed to the Fifty Caliber Shooters' Assoc. Nationals at the NRA Whittington Center in New Mexico in 2001. The plan was to spend the night here and fly on into Raton the next morning. Unknown to us though the alternator had failed on the flight from Montana and the next morning the battery was dead. I hand-propped the fuel injected engine on the third pull and we flew into Moab Utah for repairs. By the time we were able to leave Utah the match was nearly over and we went back home instead. Neat place to camp though.
